Flavors
are what these chocolate treats are all about. While plain ganache is
always a Chocolat de Liz favorite, you might also find new flavors to
love:
Spicy/Savory
Chai
— a complex, spicy East Asian classic. Chai
blends cardamon, ginger, cinnamon, clove and a note of black pepper.
Earl
Grey — the real thing, with the desirable afternote of Bergamot.
Teacup optional!
Coffee
— oh, my. Rich and full bodied. The perfectly heavenly companion to
the finest dark chocolate. Which this is.
Madame
Vera — this diva wears saffron, cardamon and a kiss of rosewater
in a white chocolate center, enrobed in white chocolate and crowned with
a toasted pistachio. True royalty, and don't you forget it!
Fruity
3
Limes — an
exuberant wave of Persian, Key and Thai keffir lime blended together. Surf's
up!
Lemon
— truly refreshing: bittersweet chocolate paired with a nice, tart
touch of lemon.
Ginger-Lemongrass
— bright ginger, gentle lemongrass plus a subtle kick of black pepper.
Mojito
— why wait for summer? A fabulous blend of rum, Persian lime and mint
blended into a white chocolate center, and enrobed in white chocolate. Vamanos!
Floral
Fleur
de Liz
— lavender and lime, Darling, with a delicate nudge
of black pepper in a white chocolate center, enrobed in white chocolate.
Hibiscus-scented
turtles — traditional caramel, pecans and a tart smooch
of Chinese hibiscus flowers, dipped in 70% dark chocolate. This is the
only non-vegan bonbon I make.
Spicy/Fruity
Cardamon/Ginger/Blended
orange — I think 'tis a smidge more spicy than fruity, but
you decide! The fresh ginger flavor between the cardamon and sweet orange
and tangerine balances everything out delightfully.
Barks
White chocolate, almonds and dried cherries
Dark chocolate and almonds. Prefer to add ginger? Perfect!
Now
about prices.
Each truffle and hibiscus turtle is $1.50 per piece. Bark is $1.25 an
ounce. Would you like more than one piece? The prices then go down...
